AGRICET stands for Agriculture Common Entrance Test. Specially devised to find and uplift the candidates interested in agricultural studies and getting admission in B.Sc. Agriculture (B.Sc. Ag.). AGRICET is conducted in order to enable admissions for students in Agricultural University.
The importance of the application of Science and Technology for Agricultural development was realized as early as in the beginning of this century.the Royal Commission (1926) emphasized the need for a strong research base for agricultural development.Also, the recommendations of the Radhakrishnan Commission on University education to the establishment of Rural Universities for overall development of the rural portions of the country. Foundation for all the subsequent developments was laid down by the commission.
It is a very unique platform for candidates interested in researching about nature and everything that exists on earth. In a way, it is a platform an individual chooses when they want to look beyond our lifestyle today and improve the quality of food we eat and surroundings we interact with everyday
-Candidates should have passed in Agriculture/Seed Technology Diploma Courses.
-Candidates must be 17-22 years old. Age limit may vary on the basis of categories such as SC/ST, Gen, OBC etc.

Application Fee Details For AGRICET 2017
