This exam is conducted by the Vikram Simhapuri University for admissions into the same university for various Post graduate courses like M.Sc., M.Com etc. at the various colleges which are associated with this university which is conducting this entrance exam.

VSUPGCET actually stands for Vikram Simhapuri University Post Graduate Common Entrance Test.
Since this entrance test is conducted by the university itself for admissions in various colleges of the same university, there are a lot of sections and components about this organization about which an applicant must must know in case if he/she is willing to appear in this entrance exam and they should make sure that they fall well under the specified criteria. Note : The dates which have been mentioned above have been obtained by doing an analysis done on the previous year event dates and are merely a consequence of them which are subjected to change as it is totally in the control of the body who conducting this entrance examination.
VSUPGCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Right when this exam was started, a few criterion were specified in order to get the best of the best candidates through this examination. However, the entrance examination is a one time thing so not everything can be decided on the basis of the marks obtained in this. So, eligibility criteria was laid down by the exam conducting body which covered various aspects of the candidates application like prerequisite of what is required and desired from the candidate.
The eligibility criteria for this exam is as follows :
-The applicant must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination with the required subjects and this percentage must be in the aggregate of all the subjects and the candidate must have managed to pass in all the subjects individually as well.
-For the candidates belonging to the reserved category, it is sufficient that they have passed in the qualifying examinations.
-The candidates who are appearing in the final year of their qualifying examinations are eligible for appearing in this examination.
-Candidates who have already passed their examination but have dropped for an year are not eligible for appearing in this examination.
VSUPGCET 2017 Exam Pattern
-The entrance exam will be 90 minutes long i.e. an hour and a half in time duration.
-There will be a total of 100 questions which means that there will be about 0.9 minute for a question that a candidate will have.
-Each question will carry one mark which means that the exam is going to be of a total of 100 marks.
-The qualifying marks are 25 for the candidates belonging to general category or unreserved category.
However, there is no minimum limit for the candidates belonging to the candidates of reserved categories for qualifying marks.
