As per the official notification, Uttar Pradesh Education Board has invited online application form to conduct UP Teacher Eligibility Test 2017. UP TET is a eligibility test, necessary to become a primary or upper primary teacher in the state along with other required qualifications. About 10 lakhs aspirants are expected to sit in this exam . A notification has been released by Uttar Pradesh Education Board regarding UP TET 2017 that it will be scheduled in the month of December for those who want  to get the UPTET certificate for Primary level & Upper Primary level Teachers. Details of UP TET 2017 Application Form

Name of the Exam: Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2017

• Paper 1 – Exam for eligibility of Primary Teachers (Classes I-V)
• Paper 2 – Exam for eligibility of Upper Primary Teachers (Classes VI-VIII)

Conducting Body: Uttar Pradesh Education Board

Eligibility Criteria:

Education Qualification :

For Paper-I: Applicants should have passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 percent marks and  2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or A Graduation degree  and BTC training from UP, must be approved by NCTE .

For Paper-II:  Applicants having B.A. / B.Sc and those appearing in final 2 year D.Ed. / B.A. /B.Sc. with at least 45 percent marks and passed are eligible for paper-II.

Age Limit: Minimum age 18 years and Maximum Age 40 years.

Application Fees:

• Gen / OBC Category Candidates have to pay Rs. 400/-
• Reserved category candidates have to pay Rs. 200/-

Selection Process:

The candidate have to score the minimum 60% marks to qualify UP TET 2017.
