The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination will conduct Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE)-2017 on the basis of its new syllabi as updated in 2015 at Dharmanagar, Kailasahar, Udaipur and Agarala to prepare merit list for admissions of candidates/applicants to Engineering, Medical, Technical and other Professional Degree Courses. The notification for Tripura Joint Entrance Examination 2017(TBJEE 2016) has not been announced yet.But, as soon as it is announced the candidate/applicants desirous of appearing in the entrance exam to get admission in courses of their choice can start filling out the application forms by simply visiting the official website of TBJEE 2017.
The candidates/applicants are advised to make sure that they satisfy the specified criteria which is prefixed by the exam conducting body and then, proceed with filling out the application form on the official website of TBJEE 2017. The various details about the exam like eligibility criteria, exam pattern etc. are given below.

Eligibility Criteria TBJEE 2017
(a) The Candidate must be a citizen of India
(b) Candidate/applicant must have passed/appeared/due to appear in the year of Joint Entrance Exam at the HSE of Tripura Board of Secondary Education /Central Board of Secondary Education or equivalent exam with any recognizable board with the subjects in which he/she desires to appear at the Joint Entrance Exam.
(c) Cadidates/Applicants who are children of All India Services Officers borne in Manipur-Tripura cadre and the candidates/ applicants who are children of the employees of State Govt. posted outside Tripura will also be eligible to appear at the exam irrespective of their prior stay in Tripura.
(d) In case a candidate is not a permanent resident/local of Tripura but his/her parents is/are an Officer on deputation to the Govt. of Tripura/Officer of the Central Govt. working in Tripura and have served within Tripura constantly for a period of about 3-years or more and passed H.S from an Institution of Tripura he/she is eligible for appearing in the exam
(e) In case of candidates who are children of Ex-Serviceman and the candidate must have passed or appeared/due to appear at the H.S. (+2) Exam or equivalent examination with a recognized board in the year of JEE from any legally recognized institution in India with subjects in which he/she desires to appear at the Joint Entrance Exam
(f) If a candidate is allotted a seat through the entrance exam in the past inside or out-side the State on the basis of the result of Joint Entrance Exam he/she shall not be eligible to appear at the JEE this year or subsequent year unless he/she has surrendered the allotted seat in writing within specific time to the appropriate authority.

The examination fees for different candidates/applicants belonging to different sections/categories of the society are as follows :
-UR/General : Rs.350/-
-SC and ST : Rs.300/-
-BPL UR : Rs.250/-
-BPL SC and ST : Rs.200/-
