RJET is abbreviated for Rajasthan Joint Entrance Test. This test is organized by Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur. This test is conducted in order to help the candidates to get admitted to various courses like B.Sc. Agriculture (Honours), B.Sc. Horticulture(Honours),B.Sc. Forestry(Honours),B.Tech Dairy Technology and B.Tech. Food Technology. Candidates willing to be a part of one of these courses is required to appear in the Joint Entrance Test. Candidates will be allowed and given admission to the respective courses on the basis of their merit and performance in the Joint Entrance Exam.

RJET 2017 Application Fee
The fee has to be deposited online right at the moment of filling the application form. The fee is non-refundable, transferable and adjustable.
-Un Reserved/OBC/SBC: Rs.2800/-(excluding bank charges)
-SC/ST/Disabled (PC)>39%: Rs.1400/-(excluding bank charges)
RJET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
There are different eligibility Criteria for various courses and the candidates have to meet the criteria in order to appear in the exam.
Educational Eligibility: The candidates who have passed the Senior Secondary (10+2) examination conducted by any recognized board are eligible to appear in the RJET. The subjects with which 10+2 should’ve been passed are Agriculture/Biology/Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
The candidate must have secured at least a 50% of aggregate in the 10+2 examination in order to be eligible to apeear in the JET. Arts and Commerce Stream aren’t eligible for appearing the JET 2017.
Age Limit: An age limit has been prefixed. The candidate shouldn’t be more than 25 years in age. The date of birth mentioned in the mark sheet of 10+2 will be considered authentic.
Domicile/Residential Requirements
-The candidate must have studied for the last 3 years of qualifying examination in a recognized institution in Rajasthan.
OR
-The natural Father/Mother of the candidate should be residing in Rajasthan for at least last 10 years.
OR
-The candidate must be bonafide resident of Rajasthan.
RJET Exam Pattern/Syllabus 2017
-The question paper of the JET will be divided into five subjects which are:
(i)Agriculture
(ii)Biology
(iii)Physics
(iv)Chemistry
(v)Mathematics
The candidates desiring admission in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry can attempt any 3 sections i.e. any 3 subjects out of the given five.
-Each of the subject will consist of 40 questions. Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong one.
Rajasthan JET 2017 Syllabus:
-Agriculture: General Proficiency and General Knowledge,Importance of Fruits and Vegetables, Importance of livestock in agriculture.
-Biology:Unity of Life, Continuity of Life,Plant physiology, Environmental Biology, Botany and Human Welfare,Zoology
-Chemistry:Structure of Atom, Periodic Table and Periodicity in properties, Chemical Bonding,Redox Reactions, Equilibrium, Energetics.
-Physics:Dynamics of a particle, Rotational Motion, Heat and Thermodynamics,Radiation, Wave Optics, Electrostatics,Kirchoff’s Law.
-Mathematics:Algebra of Complex Numbers, Rations and Functions, Matrices, Vector, Parabola, Coordinate Geometry,3-Dimensional Geometry,Probability.
