This entrance exam i.e. OUCET entrance exam is conducted by the Osmania University in order to help the candidates to get admissions into this university in the courses of their choice.This university offers various PG, PG Diploma and 5 year integrated courses to candidates to get admitted in. And, this entrance exam basically stands for Osmania University Common Entrance Test.
This exam isn’t much popular because it is only for the post graduates but sure it has it’s own value and is really a very profound name in the post graduate world.There are a about a 10,000 applications per year which are sent by the candidates to the osmania University for admissions.
The exam conducting body of this Exam is also DA i.e. Directorate of Admissions.
There has been no official notification released by the exam conducting body in regard to the same exam which is to be held in the year 2017.But, as soon as the notifications are released, the candidates will be free to go visit the official website of this university and fill out the application forms.

The candidates/applicants are suggested to make sure that they satisfy the specified criteria which is prefixed by the exam conducting body and then, proceed with filling out the application form of OUCET Exam 2017. The various details about the exam like eligibility criteria, exam pattern etc. are given below.

OUCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates desirous of getting admissions into this university must satisfy the eligibility criteria for being able to appear in the examination. These criterion are prefixed and decided by the exam conducting body.
The eligibility criteria for this exam is as follows :
-The candidates who have completed graduation or bachelor’s degree in the respective course of which they are trying to get admitted in the post graduate or the master’s degree.
-The candidates appearing in the final year of their under graduate graduate course are also eligible of appearing in this examination.
-A minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate of all the subjects in the under graduate course is also necessary to have scored by the candidate/applicant.

–Age Limit :There has been no age limit specified by the exam conducting body which means that the applicant/candidate can belong to any age group and still be able to apply/appear for this exam and take admission in the post graduate course of his/her choice after having qualified the entrance examination.

OUCET 2017 Exam Pattern

-The entrance examination will have a total of 100 questions.
All out of these 100 questions will be objective type.
-The entrance exam will be of 100 marks in total which means that each question will comprise of a maximum of 1 mark each.
-For courses like M.P.Ed., the exam will be of 75 marks which means that 75 questions will be appearing on the paper and the left over 25 marks will be given by the department of physical education based on the physical fitness and sports achievements of the candidate.

Time Duration :The time duration of this entrance exam is of total 90 minutes i.e. 1.5 hours.
-It means that, a candidate will have a total time of maximum 0.9 minutes to spend per question.

OUCET 2017 Application Fee

-The application fee for OUCET 2017 for a single subject per candidate belonging to general category or OBC Category is decided to be Rs.400/- which has to be paid along with the application form submission.
-The same application fee, for the candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC/ST has been reduced down to Rs.300/- which also has to be paid along with the application form submission.

Note : For each additional subject a candidate applies, Rs.250/- will be added along with the Application fee irrespective of a candidate’s category.(Reserved/Non-Reserved)

Minimum Cut off :A candidate will have to manage to score at least 25% of the total marks in order to qualify in this entrance exam. This minimum limit is only for the candidates belonging to General/OBC category. However, there is no minimum limit for the candidates belonging to reserved categories i.e. SC/ST.
