KEAM 2017 is the entrance exam being held by CEE kerala for Medical, Agricultural,Veterinary, Fisheries etc. Courses.
This exam is specifically for the residents or locals of kerala. It is one of the major exams of Kerala for students seeking admission in professional courses which are mentioned above in this para. KEAM 2017 is expected to be held next year and everyone is waiting for the official dates.
KEAM 2017 Important Dates
KEAM Application Form Release – First week of Jan 2017
Last Date Of Submission of Application Forms – Last week of Jan 2017
Admit Card Availability for Download – Last week of March 2017
Exam Date – First week Of April 2017
Result Declaration – Last week of May 2017
The different Test papers:
-Engineering Entrance Exam will consist of Paper 1, including questions from the subjects physics, chemistry and mathematics. There will be paper 2 which will be after approximately 1 day of the 1 paper.
-Medical Entrance Exam will consist of paper 2, including questions from the subjects Physics, chemistry and Biology. Also, there will be paper 2 which will be held about a day before the 2nd paper.
Hence, there are going to be total 4 papers (medical and engineering combined).
Eligibility Criteria KEAM 2017
For MBBS: Candidates should have obtained about a 50% of minimum percentage in the aggregate in PCB.
Also, 50% separately in biology.
For Engineering Course: Candidates should have obtained about a 50% of minimum percentage in PCM. Also, 50% separately in Mathematics.
For Architectural Courses: Candidates should have passed class 12th or diploma with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
Note: The candidates willing to appear for this exam should also satisfy the age limit criteria which asks a candidate to be at least 17 years in age. No relaxation in the minimum age limit will be allowed. As far as the upper age limit is concerned, there is none.
KEAM 2017 Exam Pattern
-Duration Of Exam : 150 minutes.
– Total Questions : 120
-Options per question : 4.
-Marks Awarded for Correct Answer : 4
-Marks deducted per wrong answer : 1
In case the candidate appearing in the exam feels that none among the 4 given options is the right answer or is unaware of the right answer, he/she shall leave the question unmarked on the OMR provided. No marks will be deducted for not attempting a question.
Exam Syllabus KEAM 2017
For the Medical Courses: The syllabus for the medical courses is exactly that of class 11 and 12 ,excluding mathematics.Physics Chemistry And Biology up till the level of class 12 will be asked in the questions in the paper.
For engineering Courses: the syllabus for the medical courses is exactly that of class 11 and 12, excluding biology. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics up till the level of class 12 will be asked in the questions in the paper.
