GITAM GAT 2017 is the GITAM admission test which is conducted in the month of April to May every year. This entrance test is a computer based entrance examination whose exam conducting body is the GITAM University which has to offer the admission in various engineering, architecture, and pharmacy courses.

GITAM GAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the Exam of GITAM GAT 2017 is described below. The following conditions are necessary to be satisfied by the candidate/applicant who are willing to appear in this entrance examination.
-The candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum percentile amount of 60% in the aggregate.
-The applicants who are appearing in class 12th in the same year of the examination can also apply for the Exam of GITAM GAT 2017.
-For biotechnology courses, the candidate/applicant must have studied in with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
-The applicant must have obtained first class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
-For B.Arch, the candidates/applicants have been asked that they successfully qualify NATA.
GITAM GAT 2017 Application Fee
-The amount of registration fee is Rs 1000 for boys and Rs 600 for girls.
-The payment can be made either through online mode which are net banking/ credit card/ debit card or through offline mode via DD.
-Make sure that the size of the photo must not be greater than size limit specified on the application form while filling it online.
-No modification or alteration can be made in the application form after the final submission that is why it is advised that you double check the information you have entered in the application form.
GITAMGAT 2017 Exam Pattern
-The Exam of GITAM GAT 2017 will be conducted online only.
-The exam paper will be of a maximum of 300 marks.
The exam paper will consist of three sections i.e. Section A,B and C.
-The maximum time duration of this online test will be 2 hours or 120 minutes.
-Each correct answer will win 3 marks and 1 mark will be ducted for incorrect responses.
The number of question per section are:
-Physics will have a total of 30 questions. Chemistry will also have a total of 30 questions.However, Biology/Mathematics will have a total of 40 questions.
