Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an All India Engineering Entrance Exam for the admission of the candidates who wants to take admission in the engineering courses. Candidates are informed that the GATE 2018 will going to conduct for the academic session of the 2018-19. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a gateway for the admission of the candidates into various engineering exams because all the institute and colleges consider the GATE marks. In some colleges, GATE is mandatory. Candidates can apply for the GATE 2018 before the last date of submission. Candidates have to fill the application form according to the eligibility criteria of the application form otherwise, the application form will be rejected by the higher authorities and candidates will not eligible to give the test. In this article, we provide the eligibility criteria for the GATE 2018.
GATE 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for M.Sc, M.A and MCA Courses:
- Candidates who have the master’s degree in Science or Mathematics or in the Computer Applications from any recognized university or institute are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who are in the final year of the master’s degree are also eligible to apply
- Candidate who will qualifying the post graduation in 2018 are eligible.
Eligibility for B.E, B.Tech or B.Pharma Courses:
- Candidates who have a bachelor degree in the Engineering or Technology of 4 years duration or have a diploma in the Engineering and Technology from any recognized university or institute are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who are in the final year of the bachelor degree are also eligible to apply
- Candidate who will qualifying their graduation in 2018 are eligible.
Eligibility for Integrated M.E or M.Tech (Post B.Sc) Courses:
- Candidates who have Post-B.Sc integrated master’s degree in Engineering or Technology of 4 years duration from any recognized university or institute are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who are in the 2nd year, 3rd year or final year of the degree are also eligible to apply
- Candidate who will qualifying their degree in 2020 are eligible.
Eligibility for B.Arch Course:
- Candidates who have a bachelor degree in the Architecture of 5 years duration from any recognized university or institute are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who are in the final year of the bachelor degree are also eligible to apply
- Candidate who will qualifying their graduation in 2018 are eligible.
Eligibility for Integrated M.E , M.Tech or Dual Degree Courses:
- Candidates who have integrated master’s degree in Engineering or Technology of 5 years duration from any recognized university or institute are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who are in the 4th year or final year of the degree are also eligible to apply
- Candidate who will qualifying their degree in 2019 are eligible.
