The CENTAC is conducted by Centralised Admission Committee of Pondicherry government for admissions to university and associated colleges. It is organized for admission into professional courses in the union territory of Puducherry for other states and other UTs candidates. The admission into degree courses on the basis of the performance of the candidates in intermediate or equivalent board examination thereto. There has been no official information or detail released concerning the CENTAC for the year 2017. CENTAC 2017 Eligibility Criteria
-Candidates who belong to Puducheery union Territory can apply for MBBS, BAMS, BDS, B.V.Sc and A.H., BPT, B.Sc (Nursing), B.Sc (MLT), B.Tech, B.Pharm, BA LLB, LLB degree courses whereas candidates of other states and other UTs, those candidates can only apply for B.Tech, BPT, B.Sc (Nursing), B.Sc (MLT),B.Pharm, BA LLB, LLB degree courses.
-The Candidate should be an Indian National for being eligible to appear in this exam.
-The applicant/candidate must have passed the higher secondary examination conducted by the board of HSE Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination.
-Applicant/Candidate must have secured at least 50% marks (40% for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC/ST category) for admissions in MBBS,BAMS,BDS,B.V.Sc. and A.H., BPT,B.Sc.(MLT) courses.
-Those applicants/candidates want to apply for other courses, they have to secure a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2(40% for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC/ST category)in the qualifying examination.
Application fee CENTAC 2017
-For one course, General category candidates have to pay Rs.500/- and SC/ST have to pay Rs.250/-.
-For two courses, General category candidates have to pay Rs.750/- and SC/ST have to pay Rs.375/-.
-For three courses, General category candidates have to pay Rs.1000/- and SC/ST have to pay Rs.500/-.
-Pay your fee through DD in favour of Convenor, CENTAC payable at Pondicherry.
