Centre for Development of Advanced Computing Anticipates Common Admission Test is abbreviated as CDAC CAT 2017. It entertains the applications for admission into various post graduate diploma courses for the academic year 2017. CDAC is a prestigious research establishment institution which is affiliated with the Department of Electronics and Information Technology of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Government of India since the beginning of it’s tenure. It offers PG diploma courses at 31 centres which are located in/spread across 19 cities of the country. These CDAC CAT 2017 diploma courses are two year high end courses in ICT.
The candidates/applicants are suggested to make sure that they satisfy the specified criteria which is prefixed by the exam conducting body and then, proceed with filling out the application form of CDAC CAT 2017. CDAC CAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
-The candidate must have graduated in Engineering or equivalent (eg. BE/ B.Tech/ 4 years B.Sc Engg./ AMIE/ AIETE/ DoEACC B level etc) in Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer Science Engineering or related areas in order to be eligible for admission in here.
-The candidate/applicant must be a post graduate in Engg. Sciences (eg. MCA/ M.Sc. Engg, M.Sc.(CS, IT, EE, Electronics, Instrumentation etc) Post Graduate candidates in Maths or in other allied areas (eg. Statistics, Applied Maths).
-The candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in their qualifying examination.
CDAC CAT 2017 Course Fee
-The total fees for the whole course is Rs. 89,000/-
CDAC CAT 2017 Exam Pattern
-The CDAC CAT 2017 exam will be conducted in English language only.
-CDAC CAT has three sections (Section A, Section B, Section C) of one hour duration each. Depending on the courses applied by the candidate, he/she will have to choose whether they’re okay with appearing for just one test paper or two test papers or all the three test papers (Section A, Section B and Section C).
-Every section will comprise of 50 objective type questions.
-Each correct answer will be awarded with 3 marks.
-There is provision of Negative Marking in this exam,each incorrect answer will result in the candidate/applicant loosing 1 mark.
-The time duration of the CDAC CAT 2017 exam is total of 3 hours.
