AP EAMCET is the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. It is conducted by JNTU Kakinada on the behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. Every year, approximately about a 1.5 lakh students apply for this exam. Applicants are issued hall tickets for this exam, also termed as Roll no.s which contain detailed information about their exam centres and their location.

Eligibility Criteria
There are some specific criteria which are necessary to be fulfilled by the candidate in order to appear for the exam. The criteria are as follows:
-The candidate willing to appear in the exam must be an India or PIO/OCI card holder.
-The candidate should be a local of the state of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana in order to apply for the exam.
-The educational qualification tends to vary with each course that the candidate is willing to participate in.
It is necessary that the candidate satisfies the educational qualification too in order to be eligible to appear for the exam.
-The Age Limit has been fixed depending upon the course that the candidate is willing to be a part of. The AGe Limit also varies as follows:
1)MBBS/BDS-Candidate should be atleast 17 years in age in order to apply for this course.
2)Engineering/Pharmacy-Candidate should be at least 16 years in age for applying in any of the courses falling under this category.
Qualification
For undergraduate courses:10+2 examination should have been qualified by the candidate from a recognized board.
For Post Graduate Courses: Bachelor’s degree is necessary with a minimal of 60% marks in the aggregate.
Exam Pattern For AP EAMCET 2017
The subjects and the marks have been divided as follows:-

Note:Both the papers will consist of 160 Questions. Each question carrying 1 mark. There is no negative marking in the EAMCET exam.
Application Fee EAMCET 2017
The Application fee for the EAMCET 2017, as specified by the Andhra Pradesh Council of higher Education is Rs.350/- if the candidate applied well within the time duration given. If the candidate applies late,however, extra fee that is the late fee charges also have to be paid by the candidate.
Determination of Merit
Those who successfully qualify the examination will be added to the merit list.While determining the merit list, 75% weightage will be given to EAMCET 2017 marks and 25% weightage will be given to relevant subject groups in qualifying examination.
