NLU stands for National Law University. It is situated in Delhi.Recently National Law University issued a notification that they are going to conduct an All India Law Entrance Test (AILET).National Law University is one of the prestigious university which offers many undergraduate and postgraduate courses.NLU is one of the top ranked law schools in India.NLU is going to conduct this entrance exam for the academic session of 2017-18.All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is going to held for the admission of the BA LLB,LLM and for Phd courses.

National Law University going to conduct an All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for the admission of the BA LLB,LLM and for Phd courses.NLU provides many undergraduate and postgraduate courses. There are about 83 seats in the BA LLB and 50 seats in the LLM course.There are 10 seats of the Phd course.The applications form are out now of the AILET 2017 Interested candidate can fill the application form on the official website of the National Law University before the last date of submission.

Starting Date of Application Form – 1 January 2017

Last Date of Submission – 11 April 2017

Admit cards will be issue on – 16 April 2017

AILET 2017 Date – 1 May 2017

AILET 2017 Result Date – 18 May 2017

AILET 2017 Exam Pattern

For BA LLB

Subject Marks

 Legal Aptitude  35

The question paper consist  of 150 question and the duration of the entrance exam is 90 minutes.

For  LLM

Total Marks 150
 Duration  90 minutes
 Subjects  Law of Contracts,Law of Torts,Criminal Law,Constitutional Law and Legal Theory
 Question Type  100 Multiple Choice Question
 Any Essay There is a one essay of 50 marks on law
 Total no. of Questions  100 Multiple Type Questions and 1 Essay

AILET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

For BA LLB (Hons.)

  • Candidate must passed in 12th class with at least 50% marks in total from any recognized Board of Education in any stream.
  • Those candidates who are waiting for the result of 12th class of academic year 2016-17 are also eligible to apply.

For LLM (1 Year)

  • Candidate must have a Law Degree or its equal with at least 55% marks in total from any recognized recognized university or institute.
  •  Those candidates who belongs to reserved category(SC/ST/PwD) then candidate must have a Law Degree or its equal with at least 50% marks in total from any recognized recognized university or institute.

For Phd

  • Candidate must have a LLM Degree or its equal with at least 55% marks in total from any recognized recognized university or institute.
  • Those candidates who belongs to reserved category(SC/ST/PwD) then candidate must have a LLM Degree or its equal with at least 50% marks in total from any recognized recognized university or institute.

How to fill Application Form AILET 2017 nludelhi.ac.in

-First of all candidate have to visit the official website of the  National Law University i.e nludelhi.ac.in
-Then go to the application from tab and then new window will open on the screen,then
-Choose the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2017
-Choose one of the course(in which you wants to take admission) and fill the correct and proper information, upload all the required scanned documents
-Click on the proceed and
-Then pay the fees of  for the application form  by net banking or by the e-Challan
-And after all this process, candidate can Save and Print the application form for the future use.
