Adesh University Nursing 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. (Nursing) Course:

Age Limit:

The minimum age for applying is 18 years.

Educational Qualifications:

• Candidate must completed his 12th Standard with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also English with at least 45% marks from any recognized Board of Education.
• Candidates who belong to SC or ST category must completed his 12th Standard with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also English with at least 40% marks from any recognized Board of Education.

Eligibility Criteria for Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) Course:

Educational Qualifications:

Candidate must completed his 12th Standard from any recognized Board of Education.

Candidate must have a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery which is registered in State Nurses Registration Council. Candidate must registered as a nurse and approved by the Indian Nursing Council in any of the following:

• O.T. Techniques
• Ophthalmic Nursing
• Leprosy Nursing
• TB Nursing
• Psychiatric Nursing vi. Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing
• Community Health Nursing
• Cancer Nursing
• Orthopedic Nursing

Eligibility Criteria for General Nursing and Midwifery (G. N. M.) Course:

Age Limit:

The minimum age for applying is 18 years and the maximum age for applying is 35 years.

Educational Qualifications:

• Candidate must completed his 12th Standard with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also English with at least 40% marks from any recognized Board of Education. OR
• Candidate must completed his 12th Standard in Arts with Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy any of the subjects and also English with at least 40% marks from any recognized Board of Education.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc. Nursing Course:

• Candidate must clear his graduation in B.Sc. (Nursing) or B.Sc. Hons. (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with at least 55% marks in total from any recognized university or institute.
• Candidate must registered as a nurse and approved by the Indian Nursing Council as a General Nursing and Midwifery
• Candidates must have the one year experience after the B.Sc Nursing.
• Candidate must have minimum one year experience after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.

Adesh University Nursing 2018 Selection Process

The selection of the candidate will be on the basis of the marks of the previous examinations. Candidates will get the admission only if he secured more marks than the cut off marks. Candidates have to attend the counselling for the admission. Candidates get the admission on the basis of the eligibility criteria.

Adesh University Nursing 2018 Counselling

Candidates have to come in the counselling himself and bring all the original documents at the time of counselling. In the counselling, the allotment of seats will take place. The seats distribution will be according to the marks of the candidates. Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. If any candidate who will not be at the counselling then the admission of that candidate will be cancelled.
