UPCATET is abbreviated for Uttar Pradesh Combined Agricultural and Technology Entrance Test. This test is conducted by Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, in order to help students get admitted in any of the various Under Graduate, Post Graduate, M.Tech, Ph.D and M.B.A. programmes. It is a well known university in Uttar Pradesh and this university is starting to get a lot of heat and is on the right track and by far the only university with so many opportunities. The Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and technology is recognized today as the premier institution of agricultural research and education in India.At present, there are 8 colleges in the university viz., College of Forestry, College of Agriculture, College of Horticulture and Home Science,College Engineering and Technology, College of Dairy Technology and College of Fisheries.Lastly, College of Agriculture.
UPCATET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
-Under Graduate Programmes: Intermediate with PCM/PCB/PCMB
-Post Graduate Programmes: B.Sc. and 10+2+4 years degree (3 years degree holders are not eligible)
-M.Tech Programmes: Bachelor’s Degree.
-Ph.D Programmes:Candidates must have degree of M.Sc.
-MBA Programmes: Candidates must have Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree.

UPCATET 2017 Counselling Sessions
The qualified candidates as per the merit list will be called out for counselling on a specified date and time for consideration of admission to specific courses. The counselling sessions will continue till the last seat is filled up. The counselling letter can be downloaded from the official website too.
UPCATET Age Limit 2017
-For taking admission in BVS and C & AH, age should be between 17 to 23 years and 5 years relaxation is given to SC/ST/OBC candidates.
-For taking admission in other courses, age should be between 16 to 22 years and 5 years relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates.
UPCATET Application Form Fee 2017
-All the General/OBC candidates have to pay Rs.1250/-
-All the SC/ST/CI/diff candidates have to pay Rs.1050/-
-Pay your application fee through DD at any branch of SBI
