RUPGCET exam is conducted in order to help the candidates to get admitted in the Post Graduate Arts,Science and Commerce Courses offered by and in the Rayalaseema University. The RUPGCET 2017 exam actually stands for Rayalaseema University Common Entrance Test. This exam is conducted every year by the exam conducting body but the details about the same examination or the better preferred term “notification” for the same for the year 2017 hasn’t officially been announced. As soon as the official notification concerning this exam is made public, the candidates will be free to go visit the official website of this common entrance exam and fill out the application form and register for appearing in the examination. The admissions in the Rayalaseema University in the post graduate courses are only done through this entrance examination whose date hasn’t been finalised yet. There is no other medium for an applicant to directly get an admission in this university in the post graduate Arts,Science and Commerce Courses.
The candidates/applicants must keep a check on to have performed many cross checks in regard to the eligibility criteria for whether they have managed to satisfy the specified eligibility criteria or not and then, they should proceed with filling out and submitting the application form of RUPGCET Exam 2017. RUPGCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The desirous candidates/applicants who wish to be a part of this university by getting admissions into this university must make sure that they successfully fulfill the eligibility criteria for having the ability to appear in the examination.In case, a candidate fails to do so and still goes further for giving the entrance examination , this may result in the total abandonment of the candidate’s application form. These criterion are prefixed and decided by the exam conducting body.
The eligibility criteria for this exam is as follows :
-The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 40% marks in the subject which is concerned with the course that the applicant is willing to opt for.
-For candidates seeking admissions in the master’s degree, the minimum aggregate criteria to be satisfied by the candidate is 40% .
-Since, this examination also includes admissions for master’s degree, there is no upper age limit set up by the exam conducting body.
RUPGCET 2017 Exam Pattern
-The entrance test for all the courses will be of 90 minutes i.e. an hour and a half.
-There will be a total of 100 questions. All of them will be objective type and the candidate is supposed to answer them up on an OMR(Optical Mark Reader) sheet.
-Each question will carry a maximum of 1 mark which means that the exam will be of maximum of 100 marks.
-Evidently, there is no provision of negative marking in this examination.Hence, the candidate, in case, marks an incorrect answer, there will be no penalty against him.
