PU refers to the Punjab University.Punjab University is going to conduct an entrance exam which is known by the name of Punjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test(PUTHAT) for the academic session of 2017-18.Punjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test for the admission to the undergraduate courses Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management,Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology.Those candidates who are seeking for these courses and wants to take admission in the Punjab University then they can fill the application form.
PUTHAT 2017
Punjab University is going to conduct Punjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test(PUTHAT) for the admission to the undergraduate courses.This entrance exam is going to held for the Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management,Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology.The applications forms of the PUTHAT are out now and interested candidates can fill the application form on the official website of the Punjab University before the last date of submission.

Starting Date of Application Form – 4 March 2017
Last Date of Submission of Application Form (offline) – 12 April 2017
Last Date of Submission of Application Form (online) – 16 April 2017
Last Date for the rectification of Application form – 21 April 2017
Admit Cards will be issue on – 27 April 2017
PUTHAT Date – 6 May 2017
PUTHAT Result Date – 16 May to 18 May 2017
Counselling Date (1st) – 30 June 2017
Counselling Date (2nd) – 7 July 2017
PUTHAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must cleared his 10+2 from any recognized Board of Education in any stream with at least 50% marks in total and candidate must have a English subject.
- Candidate have to clear PUTHAT 2017 for getting admission in the Punjab university.If candidate does not fit in any one of the criteria that is set by the university then his/her admission will be cancelled.
PUTHAT 2017 Exam Pattern
The question paper of the entrance test is consist of 100 Multiple Choice Question and each question is of 1 marks and the duration of the exam is 1:30 Hours.There is a negative marking and for each each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted automatically.

-First of all candidate have to visit the official website of the Punjab University i.e. punjabiuniversity.ac.in
-Then go to the application from tab and then new window will open,then
-Choose the PUTHAT 2017
-Choose one of the course(in which you wants to take admission) and fill the correct and proper information, upload all the required scanned documents
-Click on the proceed and
-Then pay the fees for the application form by net banking or by debit card or credit card
-And after all this process candidate can Save and Print the application form for the future use.
