Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) issued a new notification on their official website that they are going to conduct the entrance exam for the admission of the candidates into the B.Sc courses. Candidates can apply online for the entrance exam on the official website of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). PGIMER B.Sc 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc Nursing Course:

Age Limit:

The minimum age for applying is 17 years and the maximum age for applying is 25 years. If any candidate not fulfill this criteria then he is not eligible for the post.

Educational Qualifications:

• Candidate must be completed his 12th Standard with the Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and also English subject from any recognized Board of Education.
• Candidate must score at least 50% marks in total in 12th Standard.

Eligibility Criteria for Post B.Sc Nursing Course:

Age Limit:

• The maximum age for applying is 45 years. If any candidate not fulfill this criteria then he is not eligible for the post.
• There is also age relaxation for the SC and ST candidates according to the rules and regulations of the government.

Educational Qualifications:

• Candidate must be completed his 12th Standard with the Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and also English subject from any recognized Board of Education.
• Candidate must clear General Nursing and Midwifery course with at least 50% marks in total.
• Candidates must registered as Nurse or Midwifery by the Indian Nursing Council.

PGIMER B.Sc 2018 Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be on the two basis. The admission of the candidates will be on the basis of the

1. Entrance Exam: Those candidates who will clear the entrance exam with at least 50 percentile and for SC or ST candidates at least 40 percentile will be able to attend to counselling. Candidates have to clear both the rounds in order to get the admission.
2. Medical Test: The medical test will be pre-condition for registration for all candidates. Candidates will be medically examined by the board and those candidates who will get the fit certificate then he will be eligible for the counselling. Candidates have to clear the entrance exam and medical examination in order to get the admission.

PGIMER B.Sc 2018 Admit Card

The admit card will released on the official website. Candidates have to download their admit card before the examination. Candidates who will not bring his admit card will not to allowed to give the entrance exam. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website. Candidates are advised to bring one photo ID proof with them along with the admit card.

PGIMER B.Sc 2018 Counselling

The counselling process will be organized by the higher authority. Candidates who will clear the entrance exam will be called for the counselling. In the counselling, the distribution of the seats will be according to marks in the entrance exam. Candidates have to score more then the cut off marks in order to get the admission.
