OUTA stands for Orissa University of Agriculture And Technology. OUAT exam is conducted in order to help candidates get admitted to UG, PG and doctoral courses in the Orissa University Of Agriculture And Technology. It is for both, boys as well as girls.

Eligibility Criteria For Different Under Graduate Courses For OUAT CET Exam 2017
-B.Sc.(Ag.),B.Sc.(Forestry),B.Sc.(Horticulture),B.V.Sc.& A.H.,B.Tech(Agril.Engineering),B.F.Sc.,B.Sc.(Home Science):10+2 Science with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate including extra optional.
Note: For the SC/ST/PH category, the same minimum qualification requirement has been reduced down to just 40% in the aggregate.
Age Limit:An age limit has also been specified for this exam. The candidate willing to appear in this exam must at least be of 17 years in age.
Eligibility Criteria for Different Post Graduate Courses
-For M.Sc (Botany): B.Sc. with Honours/Core/Major in Botany.
-For M.Sc. (Chemistry):B.Sc. with Honours/Core/Major in Chemistry.
-For M.Sc. (Mathematics): B.Sc. with Honours in Mathematics.
-For M.Sc. (Microbiology):B.Sc. with Honours/Core/Major in Botany/Zoology
-M.Sc. (Physics): B.Sc. with Honours/Core/Major in Physics.
-M.Sc. (Zoology):B.Sc. with Honours/Core/Major in Zoology.
-M.Sc. (Biotechnology):B.Sc. with Honours/Core/Major in Biotechnology.
-M.Sc. (Computer Science):B.Sc. with Honours/Core/Major in Computer Science.
Note:The candidates must have secured at least an aggregate of 50% in these UG courses.
OUAT 2017 Exam Pattern
Like all other exams, OUAT also has a particular pattern of setting up the paper for different courses.
The exam Pattern for Under-Graduate Courses is:
The exam will consist of 50 objective type questions carrying 4 marks each. So, the exam has a total of 200 Marks.
Out of these 200 Marks,
Physics-66 Marks
Chemistry-66 Marks
Mathematics/Biology-68 Marks
Total-200 Marks.
Reservation Procedure in OUAT
Out of a 100%, 22.5% and 16.25% seats are reserved for SC and ST candidates respectively.
One seat is reserved for an NRI candidate.
Physical Requirements/Eligibility
1)Height
-Male(General and SC)=163 cm, ST=152 cm.
-Female(General and SC)=150 cm, ST=145 cm.
2)Chest girth
-Male=79 cm to 84 cm (Min. 5cm expansion)
-Female=74 cm to 79 cm(Min. 5cm expansion)
3)Physical Capacity for fast walking in four hours
-Male=25KM
-Female=14KM
Candidates with outstanding records and achievements in extra curricular activities will be given extra points and the total score, in the end, will determine the merit of a candidate.
