The exam conducting body for KRUCET 2017 is the Directorate of Admissions also goes by the common abbreviation D.A. This entrance test, instead of being a course specific is in fact actually a university specific examination meaning that this exam is conducted in order to help the candidates get into the university with which this entrance exam is associated and that university is the Krishna University situated in Machilipatnam. So, basically, KRUCET actually stands for Krishna University Common Entrance Test. The specific aim of this entrance exam is to select the eligible candidates for opting in to the various courses which are offered by this university.

KRUCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates willing to appear in this entrance exam should make sure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria specified by the exam conducting body.
The eligibility criteria for appearing and applying for KRUCET 2017 is as follows :
-The candidates who are already done with at least one of their PG Course, irrespective of professional or non-professional, will not be even considered for any kind of scholarship from the university’s side.
-As far as the educational qualification goes, the candidates willing to opt for the post graduate courses of their choice, must have a bachelor’s degree in the same course or related to that one.
Failing to satisfy this criteria will result in the candidate losing his/her chances of getting admission in the Krishna University.
-The candidates are required to possess a certificate/degree that proves that the candidate is eligible as far as the educational criteria goes i.e. the candidate is required to attach a copy of his/her bachelor’s degree to make sure of the chances of his/her admission in the university.
KRUCET 2017 Exam Pattern
The KRUCET 2017 will also follow a particular exam pattern as it has followed over the years. There has been absolutely no announcement of any changes as no notification regarding the same has been let out in public for the year 2017.
As per the previous year exams went, the exam pattern is as follows:
-The entrance examination will have a total of 100 questions out of which all of them will be objective type questions i.e. multiple choice questions.
-The entrance exam will be divided into three sections i.e. Section A, Section B, Section C.
-Section A will have a total of 30 questions and the same goes for Section B. However, the Section C will have a total of 40 questions.
-The candidates will have to answer all of their questions on the OMR Sheet (Optical Mark Reader).
