This exam is conducted by the Commissioner for the Entrance Examinations (CEE). This exam is conducted to help the applicants/ candidates get admitted into the dental colleges or institutions of their choice. All the admissions in the dental colleges in Kerala are done on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the Kerala CEE PG Dental Entrance Examination and on the basis of the same performance the candidates are allotted the seats in the dental colleges of kerala. Kerala CEE PG Dental 2017 Application Fee
-The application fee for the candidates belonging to general category and service category is Rs.1000/-
-The candidates of service quota seeking admission in the general quota category should also deposit an extra amount of Rs.100/- along with original exam fee.
-The same fee for the reserved categories has been reduced down to Rs.500/-. The reserved category comprises of SC/ST candidates.
Kerala CEE PG Dental 2017 Eligibility Criteria
-The applicant/candidate seeking admission through this exam must have completed the BDS course from a recognized university/college/institution.The candidate appearing in the final year of the BDS course is also considered eligible for appearing in this examination.
-The applicant must be an Indian citizen of Kerala origin.The candidate could be an OCI card holder or a non residential of the country. But, the candidate must fall in one of these given situations in order to be eligible for appearing in the exam.
-There is no age limit specified by the exam conducting body for this exam which means that the candidate willing to appear in this exam can be of any age group.
Qualifying Criteria :For qualifying in this entrance test, it is necessary for the candidate to have achieved/scored a minimum of 50% marks in this entrance examination. If not, the candidate will not be considered as qualified and hence, won’t be allowed to go further for admissions.
Kerala CEE PG Dental 2017 Exam Pattern
-The entrance test will consist of 200 questions and each question will carry four marks. There is no negative marking in this exam and more than one answer marked will be considered as an incorrect response.
-The total time duration of the exam will be of 3 hours i.e. 180 minutes which means that the candidate will have about 52 seconds to answer each question.
