KEA PGCET stands for Karnataka Examination Authority Post Graduate common Entrance Test. AS the name itself suggests, this exam is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority and this exam is conducted in order to help the candidates get admitted into post graduate courses of their choice. This exam is conducted specially for admissions into the Karnataka University.The official notification regarding this examination which is to be conducted next year hasn’t been release yet but the candidates willing to appear for this examination can visit the karnataka university’s official website for filling out the application form.
The candidates/applicants are suggested to make sure that they satisfy the specified criteria which is prefixed by the exam conducting body KEA(Karnataka Examination Authority) and then, proceed with filling out the application form of KEA PGCET 2017. The various details about the exam like eligibility criteria, exam pattern etc. are given below.

KEA PGCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
For Full time MBA Course :The candidate/applicant must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a recognized college in a recognized course and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects of all the semesters.(Reservation is only for the candidates belonging to Karnataka)
For Part Time MBA Course :The candidate/applicant must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a recognized college in a recognized course and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects of all the semesters.(Reservation is only for the candidates belonging to Karnataka).Also, after having obtained the degree, the candidate must not have worked less than 3 years from the date of issue of the applicant’s degree.
For MCA Course :The candidate must have passed in any recognized graduate examination or equivalent examination with the subjects Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Applicability and also the candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the subjects.
For M.Tech/M.Arch etc.
-The candidate must have a valid GATE score.
-Also the candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the subjects of his/her bachelor’s degree as per the competent authority.
KEA PGCET 2017 Application Fee
-The application Fee for this exam for the candidates belonging to the General category and OBC category is Rs.650/- per candidate.
-The same application fee for this exam for the candidates who belong to the reserved category i.e. SC/ST has been reduced down to Rs.500/- per candidate.
