KCET is Karnataka Common Entrance Test conducted by KEA in order to help interested candidates get admissions in professional courses like engineering, medical,architecture, veterinary science and animal husbandry, pharmacy.

KCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Like all exams, a few eligibility criteria have also been specified for KCET too. The criteria varies with respect to the type of course the candidate is willing to get admitted to.
For
Medical/Dental(MBBS/BDS): Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% in the aggregate.(40% for reserved categories)
Engineering(BE/BTech): Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks in the optional subjects.
KCET 2017 Exam Pattern
-The question paper of Biology,Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics, each will be of 60 Marks.
-The kannada language paper will be of 50 Marks.
-The Agricultural Practical Exam will be of 200 mark
Note:There is no negative Marking in any of the above papers.
Exam Syllabus for KCET 2017
The exam syllabus as specified by the competent authority is that the exam question papers of the Common Entrance Test will be based on the First and Second PUC syllabi prescribed by the department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State.
The Kannada Language test
This language test is specially for those candidates who claim eligibility for government seats under Horanadu and Gadinadu clauses and whose mother tongue is Kannada. All of them will have to go under this Language Test.
The minimum passing marks for all the Horanadu and Gadinadu candidates shall be 12 out of 50 marks in this exam.
The Karnataka CET Exam is conducted by the State Of Karnataka and the exam is conducted every year by the board.
KCET 2017-2018 Counselling Online
The Counselling for the Karnataka KEA CET Exam 2017 will be going to start from after the official result declaration as the result will be declared most probably after around 1-2 Months after the written test and then the counselling process will start.On the basis of the Marks in the written test the candidates will get the seat allotment as per according to their marks in the written test.The Counselling process most probably start from June 2017 or in July or August 2017.We will also try to help you through the rank predictor also as we will try to make it also when the result will be officially declared.
