Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state level entrance exam which is conducted every year and thousands of candidates appeared in the KCET. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is going to conduct the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for the admission of the candidates into various institutes or colleges which are in the Karnataka state. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is going to conduct the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for the academic session of 2018-2019. Candidates can take advantage of this opportunity who want to take admission in any one Architecture, Engineering, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy field. Candidates have to fill the application form according to the eligibility criteria. Those candidates who will clear the KCET 2018 will eligible for the admission in the institute or college of the Karnataka. The application forms are out now. Interested candidates have to fill the application form before the last date of submission.

KCET 2018-2019 Application Fees
Candidates can pay the fees only through the offline mode. Candidates can generate the e-Challan of the fees and pay the e-Challan into the specified bank. The details of the application fees is given below:
- Application Fees for the General and OBC Category’s Candidates is Rs.650
- Application Fees for the ST and SC Category’s Candidates is Rs.500
KCET 2018-2019 Eligibility Criteria
Engineering and Architecture Courses: The eligibility of the mentioned courses is given below:
- Candidate must clear his 12th standard from any recognized Board of Education.
- Candidate must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and English subjects in the 12th standard.
- Candidate must have at least 45% marks in the 12th standard.
- Candidates who belongs to the SC or ST category then they must have at least 40% marks in the 12th standard.
- Candidates who are in the 12th standard are also eligible to apply.
- Candidate have NATA score card for the architecture course.
Science and Pharmacy Courses: The eligibility of the mentioned courses is given below:
- Candidate must clear his 12th standard from any recognized Board of Education.
- Candidate must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English subjects in the 12th standard.
- Candidate must have at least 50% marks in the 12th standard.
- Candidates who belongs to the SC or ST category then they must have at least 40% marks in the 12th standard.
- Candidates who are in the 12th standard are also eligible to apply.
KCET 2018-2019 Exam Pattern
This is a written exam. All the questions are multiple type questions in this exam. The duration of the exam is 320 minutes. Each section contains 60 questions. Each question carry 1 mark and there is no negative marking in the marking.

KCET 2018-2019 Admit Card
The admit card of the KCET 2018 will be released in the third week of April 2018 and candidates can download the admit card from the official website. Without the admit card, no candidate will not be allowed to enter in the examination hall. Candidates have to bring their admit card with them at the examination center.
KCET 2018-2019 Counselling
The counselling will begin after the declaration of the result. The counselling will be organized and conduct by the higher authorities. Candidates who clear the entrance exam are eligible to attend the counselling. In the counselling, the allotment of seats will be done according to the merit basis or on the basis of the marks of the KCET 2018. Candidates have to bring all the original documents at the time of counselling.
