JNUEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria and Details

B.A (Hons.) 1st year : The candidate clears the 10+2 with at least 45% marks in each subject.Those candidates whose result are pending of 10+2 are also eligible to fill the application form and give the test without any difficulty.

-Those candidate who have certificate of Alimiah should have at least 45% marks and he/she is pass in English language of the 10+2 level.

B.A (Hons.) 2nd year

For B.A (Hons.) 2nd year in German : The candidate must have 1st year of bachelor degree of the recognized university and having at least 50% marks under 10+2+3 in concerned language.

For B.A (Hons.) 2nd year other then German : The candidate must have 1st year of bachelor degree of the recognized university and having at least 50% marks under 10+2+3 in concerned language.

Those candidates who already done the M.A. or B.A language course in their career are not eligible to take admission in this course.

Direct Admission to Ph.d Course

Those candidates can take admission in the Ph.D directly who have :

– Those candidates who have two years of M.Phil degree of any recognized university or institution.And those who one year of M.Phil degree and one year research experience of any recognized university or institution.
– Those candidates who have at least 2 years research experience after getting master degree from any recognized university or institution and also they have at least 55% marks in the master degree.

The university has the right that how to shortlist the applications.

M.Phil/Ph.D.

-International Politics,Organisation and Disarmament: Candidate have master degree in the Science ,History,Geography,Sociology with at least 50% marks.Or master in Humanities and other Social Science with at least 60% marks or in case of master in Natural Science at least 65%.

-International Legal Studies : Candidate have the LLB 3 year degree with at least 55% or with LLB 5 year at least 55% marks.

M.A

-For doing M.A in Politics and M.A in International Relation candidate have a bachelor degree with at least 50% marks of any recognized university.
-For doing M.A in Economics candidate have 50% in all subjects in bachelor degree .

Reservation Of Seats :
There are total 22.5% are reserved for the reserved category.15% for SC and remaining 7.5% for ST.There are 27% seats are reserved for the OBC and there is also 10% relaxation in cut off as compare to the general category.
