JCECE 2017 Application Form

JCECE is Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board in order to help the candidates to get admission in 1st year/semester of the different degree courses in the respective academic years. This exam is one of the most important exams of Jharkhand and it is slowly gaining popularity because of the quality education provided here and opportunities given to the candidates.

JCECE Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria fixed by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board for different courses is as follows:
B.E./B.Tech: 10+2 examination with 45% marks(40% for reserved category)in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.

MBBS/BDS: 10+2 pass individually in Physics,Chemistry, Biology and English and 50% marks(40% for reserved category) in Physics,Chemistry and Biology taken together.

B.V.Sc.and A.H.: 10+2 with 50% marks(40% for the reserved category) in Physics, Chemistry,Biology and English taken together.

B.Sc.(Agri.)and B.Sc.(Forestry): 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.

Age Limit for JCECE 2017

An age limit has been specified for different courses and the candidate has to satisfy that criteria too in order to appear for the exam. The age limit for different courses is as follows:

For B.E. and B.Tech: There is no maximum or minimum age limit.
For MBBS/BDS: The candidate should be of minimum 17 years in age.
For B.V.Sc and A.H.: The candidate should be of minimum 17 years in age.
For B.Sc.(Agri.)and B.Sc.(Forestry): The candidate should be of minimum 17 years in age and maximum of 22 years.

Note:The age specified in the marksheet of 10+2 qualifying examination will be taken in consideration while cross-checking the age limit criteria.

Residential Criteria: The candidate seeking admission here should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Jharkhand. The residential certificate issued by any authority other than Sub Divisional Officer would be neglected and wouldn’t be taken into consideration.

Exam Pattern For JCECE 2017

For different subject groups, the exam pattern is as follows:
PCM(Physics Chemistry and Maths): There will be 50 objective type questions from each subject.(150 questions)
PCB(Physics Chemistry and Biology): There will be 50 objective type questions from each subject.(150 questions)
PCMB(Physics Chemistry Maths and Biology): There will be 50 objective type questions from each subject. (200 questions)

Note: Each question in all of the different exams will carry one mark. And 1/4 Marks will be deducted from the total score for each incorrect response delivered.
