GIPE stands for Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE).GIPE is one of the oldest research and training institutes in Economics in the country.Recently ,Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE) issued a notification that they are going to conduct an entrance exam for the M.Sc program in various discipline.GIPE is going to conduct this entrance exam for the academic year of 2017-18.This entrance exam is only for the M.Sc program in Economics, Financial Economics, Agribusiness Economics, International Business Economics and Finance.Candidates can fill the application form.

GIPE 2017 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must have a Bachelor Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in total from any recognized university or institute.
- Candidate who belongs to reserved category, must have a Bachelor Degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks in total from any recognized university or institute.
- Those candidates who are waiting for the result of final degree exams of academic year 2016-17 are also eligible to apply.
GIPE 2017 Exam Pattern
The question paper consist of 100 Multiple Choice Question and the duration of the entrance test is of 2 Hours.There are four options of each question and candidate have to give the one answer out of the four options.There is a negative marking in this entrance exam and for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted automatically.
