GIPE 2017 Application Form

GIPE stands for Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE).GIPE is one of the oldest research and training institutes in Economics in the country.Recently ,Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE) issued a notification that they are going to conduct an entrance exam for the M.Sc program in various discipline.GIPE is going to conduct this entrance exam for the academic year of 2017-18.This entrance exam is only for the M.Sc program in  Economics, Financial Economics, Agribusiness Economics, International Business Economics and Finance.Candidates can fill the application form.

Last Date of Submission of Application Form – 27 May 2017
GIPE Entrance Test Date – 12 Jun 2017
Declaration of Result – 21 June 2017
Commencement of New Session – 25 July 2017

GIPE 2017 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in total from any recognized university or institute.
  • Candidate who belongs to reserved category, must have a Bachelor Degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks in total from any recognized university or institute.
  • Those candidates who are waiting for the result of final degree exams of academic year 2016-17 are also eligible to apply.

GIPE 2017 Exam Pattern

The question paper consist of 100 Multiple Choice Question and the duration of the entrance test is of 2 Hours.There are four options of each question and candidate have to give the one answer out of the four options.There is a negative marking in this entrance exam and for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted automatically.

  • Descriptive Statistics, Measures of Central tendency,Measures of dispersion,Correlation and Regression Coefficient,Probability Theory and Index Numbers.
  • Mathematics for economics ,Algebra, Calculus and Matrix Algebra.

Section 2

  • Analytical Ability and Reasoning

Section 3

  • Microeconomics (Demand Curves, Price and Income Elasticity of Demand, Cost Curves, Equilibrium of Firm under different market structures).
  • Macroeconomics (National Income, Theory of Income Determination, Fiscal and Monetary Policy, Trade and Balance of Payments).
  • Growth and development theories.

How to fill Application Form GIPE 2017 gipe.ac.in

-First of all candidate have to visit the official website of the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE)  i.e. gipe.ac.in

-Then go to the application from tab and

-Choose the GIPE Entrance Test 2017

-Choose the course (M.Sc) and fill the correct and proper information, upload all the required scanned documents

-Click on the submit button, new window will open on the screen

-Then pay the fees of the application form by net banking or by debit or credit card

-And after all long this process candidate will be able to Save and Print the application form for the future purpose.

      Exam is scheduled on 11th June 1992. I have also applied for exam.
