About DNB CET: National Board of Examinations is responsible to award Diplomate qualifications which  are well recognized and accepted as high standard specialist qualifications  for practice of concerned medical discipline/Super or sub specialty area. DNB CET is eligible to be considered for specialist’s post/faculty in any Hospital including a training institution or university on a teaching post as a faculty member.

DNB CET 2017 Notification

As per the official notification, Diplomate of National Board Combined Entrance Examination will be held for as many 748 seats in 30 major of higher studies in medical specialty courses. The candidates who wish to apply for this entrance exam can submit their application form from the official website. Eligibility Criteria for DNB CET 2017

• Candidate should  possess a MBBS degree from a recognized university by Medical Council of India.
• Candidate should have completed the required 12 Months rotating internship/practical training.

Note: All the Candidates who are already pursuing a DNB CET course are not eligible to appear for the DNB CET 2017 till they have finished the entire duration of the prescribed course.

DNB CET Pattern 2017

• The DNB CET is a computer based test.
• The medium of paper will be only in English.
• The questions will be from subjects taught during the MBBS course including subjects like pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical.
• DNB CET 2017 will consist of 300 Multiple Choice Questions.
• There shall be no negative marking.
