Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is one of the popular law entrance exam in India. It is a entrance test which gives the admission into 18 prominent National Law Universities of India. CLAT is an all India entrance exam and every year it is conducted for the admission of the candidates into LL.B. and LL.M. programmes. CLAT 2018-2019 Application Fees
The application fees can be paid only by the online medium by the debit card, credit card or by net banking. The application fees or registration fees is given below:
- Application Fees of the CLAT 2018 for the General and OBC Category’s Candidates is Rs.4000
- Application Fees of the CLAT 2018 for the ST and SC Category’s Candidates is Rs.3500
CLAT 2018-2019 Eligibility Criteria
UnderGraduate Courses:
Age Limit:
- The maximum age for applying for the CLAT 2018 is 20 years
- Those candidates who belongs to SC or ST or OBC Category have 2 years of relaxation, it means the maximum is 22 years.
Educational Qualifications:
- Candidate must clear his 12th Standard from any recognized Board of Education with at least 45% in total.
- Those candidates who belongs to SC or ST or OBC Category must clear his 12th Standard from any recognized Board of Education with at least 40% in total.
- Candidates who are going to appear in the 12th Standard exams are also eligible to apply for the CLAT 2018.
PostGraduate Courses:
- Candidate must clear LL.M. is LL.B. or Five-Year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.) from any recognized university or institute with at least 45% in total.
- Those candidates who belongs to SC or ST or OBC Category must clear LL.M. is LL.B. or Five-Year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.) from any recognized university or institute with at least 45% in total.
- Candidates who are going to appear in the 12th Standard exams are also eligible to apply for the CLAT 2018.
CLAT 2018-2019 Exam Pattern
UnderGraduate Courses:
This entrance exam is only for the admission in the undergraduate law courses. This will be a computer based test. There will be total 200 questions which are objective type. The duration of the exam is 120 minutes. The question will be asked in only English language. Each question is 1 mark and there will be negative marking also. Candidate have to skip the question if he does not know the answer because for every wrong answer 0.25 will also be deducted.

This entrance exam is only for the admission in the postgraduate law courses. This will be a computer based test. There will be total 200 questions which are objective type. CLAT 2018-2019 Admit Card
The admit card of the CLAT will be released in the third week of April 2018. The admit care will be issued only online. Candidates are informed that they have to carry at least one photo ID proof along with the admit card and it is compulsory for all the candidates. The admit card contains all the details regarding the exam and the candidate.
CLAT 2018-2019 Answer Key
The answer of the CLAT 2018 will be released in the third week of May 2018 and candidates can download the answer key from the official website. The answer key contains the real or correct answer of that questions which were asked in the exams.
CLAT 2018-2019 Result
The result of the CLAT 2018 will be released in the last week of the May 2018. Candidates can check their result by entering their log in details on the official website. Candidates have to check the result on the official website. The result will contain the rank of the candidate in the exam.
