Central Admission Committee (CENTAC) is not an entrance exam. CENTAC is organized by the Centralised Admission Committee of Pondicherry Government for the direct admission of the candidates into various university and associated college. Central Admission Committee (CENTAC) is conducted for the admission of the candidates into the engineering and pharmacy field. The admission of the candidates will be on the basis of the marks in the 12th Standard. Candidates can apply for the CENTAC by visiting the official website.
CENTAC 2018-2019
Central Admission Committee (CENTAC) is the direct gateway for the admission of the candidates into the engineering and pharmacy field without any kind of entrance exam. The admission of the candidates will be on the basis of the marks in the 12th Standard. The application forms are out now and all the interested candidates who wants to take admission in the mentioned above courses in the Pondicherry colleges or institutes can fill the application form before the last date of submission. Candidates have to fill the application form according to the eligibilit criteria of the application form.

CENTAC 2018-2019 Application Fees
Application Fees is only be paid by the online mode only. Candidates can pay the application fees online by the debit card, credit card. The details of the application fees of CENTAC 2018 is given below:
Application Fees for One Course:
- Application Fees for the General and OBC Category’s Candidates is Rs.500
- Application Fees for the ST and SC Category’s Candidates is Rs.250
Application Fees for Two Courses:
- Application Fees for the General and OBC Category’s Candidates is Rs.750
- Application Fees for the ST and SC Category’s Candidates is Rs.350
Application Fees for Three Courses:
- Application Fees for the General and OBC Category’s Candidates is Rs.1000
- Application Fees for the ST and SC Category’s Candidates is Rs.500
CENTAC 2018-2019 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
Candidate must be an Indian.
Age Limit:
The minimum age for applying is 17 years and the maximum age for applying is 21 years.
Educational Qualifications:
B.Tech Course:
- Candidate must clear his 12th class from any recognized Board of Education.
- Candidate must study Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the Chemistry or Biology or Bio-Technology or Computer Science in the 12th class.
- Candidate must have at least 45% marks in the 12th class.
- Candidates who belongs to the SC or ST category then they must have at least 40% marks in the 12th class.
- There is only two attempts for the applications for general category and three attempts for the SC category.
B.Pharma Course:
- Candidate must clear his 12th class from any recognized Board of Education.
- Candidate must study Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and any one of the Mathematics or Biology or Bio-Technology or Computer Science in the 12th class.
- Candidate must have at least 45% marks in the 12th class.
- Candidates who belongs to the SC or ST category then they must have at least 40% marks in the 12th class.
- There is no attempts limits.
BAMS Course:
- Candidate must clear his 12th class from any recognized Board of Education.
- Candidate must study Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English subjects in the 12th class.
- Candidate must have at least 50% marks in the 12th class.
- Candidates who belongs to the SC or ST category then they must have at least 45% marks in the 12th class.
- There is only one attempt.

CENTAC 2018-2019 Counselling
The seats will be allot to the candidates will be on the basis of the marks in the 12th Standard. Candidate have to be present in the counselling. Candidates have to bring all the original documents. The commencement of counselling will be in the fourth week of July 2018.
How to fill CENTAC 2018 Application Form
- First of all, candidates have to go the official website of the Central Admission Committee (CENTAC) i.e. www.centaconline.in
- Then go to the UG announce tab
- Choose CENTAC 2018 Application Form
- Fill all the details into the application form and upload the required documents
- Click on the submit button
- Pay the application fees
- Save the application form for future.
