This is the Kerala CEE exam which is also commonly known as Kerala CEE Law Entrance Examination. This exam is conducted in order to help the interested candidates/applicants to get admission in Kerala’s best law colleges. Although no official notification has been released regarding this exam which is going to be held in the year 2017 for the session 2017-18. This exam is very prestigious for candidates/applicants who are willing to go for Law and make a career out of it.It is very convincing for the candidates to have Law as a career option.
The candidates/applicants are suggested to make sure that they satisfy the specified criteria which is prefixed by the exam conducting body and then, proceed with filling out the application form of Kerala CCE LLM 2017. Kerala CEE LLM 2017 Eligibility Criteria
-For appearing in this exam, the candidate must be an Indian National i.e. the candidate must be citizen of India and a local resident of the state of Kerala.
-As far as the academic or the educational qualifications are concerned, the candidates/applicants who have passed the LLB examination either 5 year or 3 year course, with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the subjects in the final exam are eligible for appearing for this exam and taking admissions in the colleges which are associated with this exam.
The candidates have to keep a proof of their eligibility for appearing in this examination. If not the degree of the LLB, the candidate/applicant must possess all the provisional certificates from that course so that he/she can certify that they have passed LLB and make sure that they are eligible for appearing in this examination.
-Age Limit : The candidate can be of any age i.e. there is no upper limit on the age for the candidate. The candidate could be a 30 year old or even a 35 year old.
Kerala CEE LLM 2017 Exam Pattern
In this exam, there will be two papers. Each of them will be of about 90 minutes in time duration which means that the whole paper is going to be of 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours in duration.
Paper 1 will cover the following topics :
Jurisprudence will be in 25 questions, another 25 questions will be allotted for Constitutional Law.25 questions for Law of Crimes and lastly, another 25 questions for Law of Contracts.
SO, paper 1 will have a total of 100 questions.
Paper 2 will cover the following topics :
20 questions of Public International Law, 20 questions of Administrative Law, 20 questions for Law of Property, 20 questions of Company law, another 10 questions for Interpretation of Statuses and lastly, 10 questions for Law of torts.
So, the paper 2 will collectively be of a total of 100 questions too.
Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks and each incorrect response indicated will result is the candidate losing 1 mark out of his/her total score.
